We don't know exactly what's new yet, but Palm's released firmware version 1.0.. 4. for Pres on Sprint (not to say there are any other Pres out there at the moment, anyhow). Stay tuned for details. Update: Looks like the only changes here ...
Why are there 4 different ways to put patterns on fabric?
Q. I just bought a sewing pattern from Simplicity, and I've worked with a pattern before, but it only showed one way to place the pattern on fabric. In this pattern it showed 4 different ways to place the pattern. And I know that with some patterns you can make different things (ex. 6 different shirts in one pattern), but on mine, pattern D came with D1, D2, D3, D4. How do I know which pattern to pick?

A. Different layouts are usually for different types and sizes of fabrics such as 44/45" or 60", or with or without nap... Also, directional fabrics (ie. stripes) or repeating designs (assuming you want to match them up) use more fabric than solids or random prints because you have to be fussy with the layout. You will choose the layout that best matches your fabric width and type. Hope this helps!
